She met him online on a dating app that, even as a user, she hated. For her, it was like exhibiting herself in the window of a filthy butcher’s shop where, regardless of the genre, everything is sold in bulk. A club of strange, lonely, and desperate people that she decided to stop frequenting.
His mistake was not uninstalling the app.
He made MACTH on her profile and put like, one by one, on all his photos, a shower of hearts that could not go unnoticed.
The notifications came cascading in, interrupting a Mana rock song, which she was listening to on YouTube while cooking dinner.
“You have a new message,” announced the screen.
“Hello, how are you? I saw you and couldn’t resist. I’m sure everyone tells you that, but you have something special in your eyes that I love.” The message said.
“You’ll say that to everyone,” she thought, turning a cheese sandwich on the frying pan with her left hand and typing the following with her right:
“You think so?”
“Yes, I do.” He answered immediately. And that’s when it all started.
