Today I’m going to tell you about a little boy who grew up in a humble family, a bad student with a 1.7-grade point average in school. Someone who didn’t have it easy. Someone like me. Someone like you.
Today I’m going to tell you about the one and only Denzel Washington.
Mr. Washington was born in New York in 1954. He studied journalism, but life showed him at an early age his passion for acting.
His dream of being an actor was big. He was rejected time and time again at every casting call he applied-for.
Nobody on Broadway wanted to give him a chance because he didn´t know how to sing.
Nevertheless, he never gave up. He went to every casting he could. He wouldn’t let himself quit. You know what they say:
