Ha, ha, ha. No. In fact, I just found out about and searched for the story, thanks to you. It is a similar premise but it is not the same, my story refers to loneliness, it is not intended to be a process of growth as in the story of the egg.

Someone told me something similar with another Neil Gaiman story. But he didn't give me the name and I couldn't look it up.
