I like the book of Don Juan, but I have many problems with Carlos. First, I think he was involved in the Jacob Grinberg thing, and second, I believe Pachita more than Carlos. Furthermore, Carlos isolated people from their families, he was a bit of a sectarian leader. It is the typical case in which the author's life spoils his work. He was one of the precursors of the Hippie movement and obsessed John Lennon with his message. But there's something about him that I don't like.
