It depends on the situation. Remember that in a middle way lies virtue. In other words, if the emotion of discomfort in front of a situation or person is born from you because your brain feels that you are being disrespected, you have to relax and think.

For example, now, I regret how often I have argued with my mother "with reasons" because deep down, being above her was more important than my relationship with her. And that, seen from a distance, is crazy.

On the other hand, if people are putting you in danger or abusing you, we must use the means at our disposal. Unfortunately, too many people are abused and don't say anything.
