Open Letter to a Struggling Actress in Her Twenties
“I’m running out of money to invest in my dreams.”
Dear Alberto aka Malafama:
Hello, good morning. I would like to know if you can help me with this: I have a friend studying theater, dance, and acting. She has to make a lot of efforts (in all areas) to go ahead; she sometimes thinks that what she is doing is not enough. And she will not get the results she wants.
Yesterday she wrote this,
The truth is that for the last few days, I’ve had a lot of anxiety, and I can’t sleep. I am tired of everything. I don’t know if it’s because I’m turning 20 and having some kind of crisis or because I feel insufficient for what I want to achieve.
I’m tired of sacrificing everything and not seeing results. I’m running out of money to invest in my dreams. I’m a few days away from a show, and my friends won’t go. I feel unmotivated.
Everyone says it’s beautiful to chase your dreams, but it hurts. I just want a hug. I’m fed up. Bye.
Could you give me some advice to help her? Thanks in advance.
