I know it will sound cliché, but you’ll enjoy it twice as much if you have to fight it. When you fight so hard that it hurts, and you achieve it, you value it as it deserves. My advice is to trust that everything has a reason and that many times, what you are doing is practicing like Daniel San in Karate Kid, painting the sensei’s house fence without realizing that you are learning Karate. While working as a waiter, I never thought I was training as a writer. And those were hard years. Conclusion: pay close attention to these tough moments because they prepare you for a bright future.
