Consequences of changing space to cyberspace.

When we exchanged space for cyberspace, the world we knew ended.

We are the first generation in history to live immersed in virtuality. A holographic space capable of turning the world into a global village, where everyone knows each other, and at the same time, separating us millions of kilometers from our humanity.

Love and friendship have become virtual. Enemies are also virtual, and we call them haters.

Classes are held in virtual environments. Dating, too. Space is now composed of ones and zeros, and we travel at the speed of light, from screen to screen. But it’s too cold.

We don’t need to touch each other. We don’t need to hold each other. Today, what is useless is blocked by an imaginary button printed on a digital screen.

That’s how arguments, courtships, even friendships end: with cancellation.

Dangers of cyberspace

We fear transhumanism, but we already live immersed in it. You don’t need a chip implanted in your head, it’s in the palm of your hand, and it’s called a smartphone. And no one knows for sure the consequences of its use.
