The Disturbing Theory About Potential Futures That Will Blow Your Mind

And the relation with your manifestation power.

The only thing that does not change is the changing nature of the world.

That premise has led me to think of the following disturbing theory.

Theory: Nothing can move from state A to state B if state B does not exist.

Visualize your favorite mug (mine is Spiderman).

There is a version of your favorite mug (state A) that is broken (state B). If that version did not exist, it could not be broken (the process of moving from state A to state B).

But although there are many ways to break your cup, they produce different results.

Throwing your mug off your desk onto the floor is not the same as climbing the Empire State Building and throwing it into the street.

In the first scenario, it will likely break into three pieces (state B3), and in the second scenario, into hundreds of small ceramic pieces (state B100).
Thus, there is a wide range of futures.

All futures exist at once.

For your cup to break, there has to be a future in which the cup is broken.

The tricky thing is to know what set of actions will lead to a concrete result, for example, to get the cup to break into seven exact pieces (State B7), because there are many variables at play: material of the cup, strength, height, temperature, the size of the elephant sitting on top of your breakfast :-)

However, there are people capable of repeatedly producing accurate results on practically anything.

  • Rolling double sixes with dice.
  • Hit a triple backward.
  • Throw a dart blindfolded and hit the bullseye.

And while training the same action repeatedly until you get the desired result helps, skill isn’t everything.

The power of flow states

I remember the first time I won a poker tournament in person.
