The Hustler Life Is Killing You
What to Do When Things Don’t Work Out.
Is any of it real? I mean, look at this, look at it! A world built on fantasy! Synthetic emotions in the form of pills! Psychological warfare in the form of advertising! Mind-altering chemicals in the form of food! Brainwashing seminars in the form of media! Controlled isolated bubbles in the form of social networks. Real? Do you want to talk about reality? We haven’t lived in anything remotely close to it since the turn of the century.
We spend the day anxiously. It’s the only feeling we know lately. We worry about the bills, about the rent, about meeting the expectations of our parents, family, and friends.
And for this, in addition to our work, we have a side business.
We don’t do it to fulfill a dream. We do it because we need the money. After all, the regular job is no longer enough.
And that kills us inside.
We are empty. Dry. And it hurts us.
We go crazy trying to imitate the content that works to earn a couple of dollars more at the end of the month. And yet, we often don’t succeed.
We can’t go on like this: obsessed with numbers and statistics.
