The other day, a guy left me this comment,

“AG, you’re just another park stoner who read too many Eckhart Tolle books.”

I don’t get mad about it. (Although I see myself more as a rehabilitated Charles Bukowski giving self-help talks that nobody cares about :-)

He was partly right; I WAS the drunk guy of the park for most of my life.

And, well… I read Echart’s work because he WAS also the weird homeless guy of the park until he wrote The Power of Now.

So we WERE park-looser bros.

So, instead of getting mad at the offensive comment, I will share a great life lesson I learned from Echart Tolle that made me feel like a superhero.

If you don’t learn to use your mind, your mind will use you.
